Rightbrain Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone using our services, whether that’s via our web application or via our Application Programming Interface.

If you are aware of any violations of this policy, or if you otherwise discover any inaccuracy, bias or other harm in our services, please notify us immediately at [email protected].

If we reasonably suspect that you or anyone using your customer account has breached this policy, we may suspend or terminate your account in accordance with our Customer Terms.

If you are using our services you must:

1. Obey the law and act ethically

You must not use our services to access, store, distribute, create or transmit any material that:

• is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing or racially or ethnically offensive;

• facilitates illegal activity, including fraud, phishing or unauthorised access to computer systems or information;

• depicts sexually explicit images;

• promotes unlawful violence;

• is discriminatory based on race, gender, colour, religious belief, sexual orientation, disability; or

• is otherwise illegal or causes damage or injury to any person or property.

2. Understand your use case and be careful with new technology

Large Language Models (LLMs) are useful, but they are still an experimental technology. They sometimes produce content that is inaccurate or offensive. Use discretion before relying on, publishing, deploying or otherwise using content produced by LLMs.

If you are using our services to perform actions or make decisions that could have legal or other significant effects on individuals, you must:

• ensure that the output of the LLM is subject to human review before it is used; and

• disclose your use of LLM’s to the affected individuals.

You should not use our services for business critical functions without conducting a proper risk assessment of the impact of using LLMs for such functions.

Our free tier services are intended for testing, experimentation and personal use only. You must not:

• use these services for business critical functions; or

• submit personal data, confidential information or other sensitive material to these services.

3. Respect our systems and those of our suppliers

You must not:

• place an excessive load on Rightbrain’s infrastructure;

• copy, modify, or create a derivative work of our services;

• circumvent a ban or account suspension;

• reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract any or all of the source code of our services.

If you are using a third party service such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini through our services, you must familiarise yourself with, and abide by, their acceptable use policies and other conditions of use.
